HFU gifts household items to Kamuli residents

Whereas some people are gifted with fair conditions of living, some people lack the basic household items to survive. This prompted Humanity First Uganda to help the people of Nawandyo in Bugulumbya, Sub County in Kamuli district. Humanity First Uganda received a container for charity stuffs from Humanity First Headquarters UK in May 2008. The stuffs which were received included Computer sets, Clothes, Mattresses, Blankets, Scholastic materials, Water filters, and other miscellaneous toys and games stuffs for children. Different stuffs were arranged and organized by Humanity First team in different packets for distribution. The clothes for different people (men, women and children) were arranged and organized separately and were well packed (1000 packets). Humanity First Uganda contacted the local authorities such as District Chairpersons, LC5 Councilor and others. The donation was made on 28th August 2008 in Nawandyo found in Kamuli district. According to the arrangements made by the local authorities, one person at a time could come and given his or her gift at the hand of Humanity First team. The stuffs included the following;
