Humanity First Uganda Trains Medical Clinical Officers

Humanity First Uganda trained over 200 medical officers in Basic Life Support. The training was conducted by a team of Humanity First International medical doctors from UK from 17th November 2009 to 30th November 2009, The two doctors from HFI – UK, Mr. Karl and Mark (Medical Officers) arrived in Uganda and performed Health training sessions on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Intermediate Life Support (ILS). These tasks were performed in various places which included the following; Mbale Regional Referral Hospital, Mbale Municipal Hospital, Ahmadiyya Muslim Medical Centre – Mbale, Mbale Resort Hotel, Mbale Police Camps and other Health centres in Sironko, Budaka and Manafa districts.

A total of over 200 people were trained and health support Certificates were awarded to various volunteers who participated. They also visited Mulago hospital for casualties and met various district officials.
