Humanity First Uganda under its programme Community Care extended a helping hand to the vulnerable people of Buyende district in Kidera Health Center IV in the Eastern part of Uganda
15 wheel chairs, 5 Oxygen concentrators, 2 medical bed stretchers and different basic food items among others were donated to this health center to improve and ease medical service of health personnel to the people of Buyende district and the surroundings and lessen the hardships faced and the facility due to lack of oxygen concentrators and other basic requirements for the health center.
Among the many dignitaries who were present to witness the donation was the Residence District Commissioner (RDC) Buyende district Mr. Kulaba David Isabirye, Chairman L.C.V Buyende district Michael Kanaku, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Buyende district Mr. Lamogin Joseph, the Director Marketing Humanity First Uganda Mr. Rajab Kazaana, the Director Community Care Humanity First Uganda Mr. Nsubuga Ismah, the Chairman Kidera village, the representative for the disabled in Kidera town council Mr. Julius Babalanda and many others.
While speaking to our reporter, the chairman Buyende district applauded humanity first for their endless efforts in alleviating the pains and suffering of the most vulnerable people of the community through their various programs.
Speaking to the hospital administrators and some beneficiaries about the donation, this is how they expressed their sincere appreciation to Humanity First Uganda and its donors for their endless efforts in extending a helping hand to the vulnerable of Buyende district.
